If you run a company in the Netherlands and employ a sick or disabled person who needs coaching, or you offer a potential employee a trial placement, you may want to make use of a job coach free of charge. A job coach will help your employee with introduction and training and supports them in the workplace for a period of maximum 3 years.
When do you qualify?
If you are requesting a subsidy for an internal jobcoach for the first time, your employee must:
- have a contract for at least 6 months
- work at least 12 hours a week
- earn at least 35% of the minimum wage.
How to apply?
You submit your application for a job coach (in Dutch) to the Employee Insurance Agency (Uitvoeringsinstituut Werknemersverzekeringen, UWV) or your municipality.
