Subsidy for hydrogen in mobility (SWIM)
Do you want to invest in hydrogen filling stations and hydrogen-powered vehicles? Partnerships can apply for the Hydrogen in Mobility (Subsidieregeling Waterstof in Mobiliteit, SWIM) subsidy scheme. SWIM helps you fund new or upgrades to existing hydrogen filling stations, hydrogen vehicles, or the conversion of vehicles to hydrogen (retrofitting).
What are the conditions for SWIM?
These are some of the conditions you must meet to apply for the SWIM:
- You work in a partnership consisting of at least 1 hydrogen filling station operator and 1 transport company (freight and/or bus transport).
- You apply for a grant for at least 1 new hydrogen filling station to be built, 1 refuelling station to be repurposed, or an existing hydrogen filling station to be upgraded.
- The vehicles listed in your application will use at least 30% of your hydrogen filling station's capacity, of which at least half are heavy vehicles (over 3,500 kg).
- You have obtained or applied for an environment and planning permit for building, or expanding your hydrogen filling station.
