Does your organisation work to strengthen and innovate healthcare in the Netherlands or the European Union? You can apply for subsidy from the EU health programme EU4Health. This programme aims to prepare the EU for potential future pandemics and other threats to public health.
When do you qualify?
EU4Health consists of multiple grants and tenders to support the objectives of the European Health Union. To qualify, your organisation needs to be establish in a EU-member state or an associated non-EU country. Additional conditions vary between the different subsidies and tenders.
The scheme is open to health organisations and NGOs from EU countries, and non-EU countries associated to the programme. They must pursue 1 or more of EU4Health's objectives, such as for instance:
- ensuring sufficient medical, care, and support staff
- improving access to medicines, medical devices, and products needed in the event of a crisis
- international cooperation among health organisations to respond to cross-border health threats
- complementing national stocks of products needed in the event of a crisis
