What has changed?
Do you own or run a supermarket? Sales of tobacco products and vapes (e-cigarettes) is banned from supermarkets. The Dutch Cabinet wants to reduce the number of outlets selling tobacco. In 2024 the sale of tobacco in approximately 6,400 supermarkets will end.
The ban on online sales of tobacco products and vapes was introduced in 2023.
